Rebecca Adlington Harry Needs Wedding
“The ceremony was so personal, which was exactly what we wanted,” revealed Rebecca of their big day on 31 August which took place at an idyllic rural wedding venue The Ashes set amid 50 acres of Staffordshire countryside.
Of the ceremony for which they wrote their own vows, she said: “I love the fact Harry was in bits before I even reached him. I was a bit nervous in the car on the way here with my dad, but as soon as I walked in, my nerves melted and I relaxed. The room was just so full of love.”
Posing in her stunning gown for photographs with her family and friends, Rebecca’s svelte figure was shown to perfection. “I lost nearly two stone in the jungle [on ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here’] and perhaps another four or five pounds since then,” she said. “So it was a great kick start, and I feel better for it, but I don’t like it when people assume you’re really happy because you’re thin.” Of her confidence and happiness in her life today, she told HELLO! “I’m not suddenly confident because I have lost weight, I’m happy because I’m marrying the love of my life.”
"I compliment her every single day, because to me she is the most beautiful woman in the world," added Harry. The Nigel Rayment Boutiques in London & Manchester are so proud to have dressed Rebecca’s mum in a John Charles lace dress with silk jacket style 25688 in coral-ivory with a matching Nigel Rayment Couture hat trimmed with the silk fabric from the jacket making it perfectly compliment this stunning Mother Of The Bride Outfit. It was a honour to also dress Harry’s mum in a Condici style 70800N fine crepe dress and jacket in cream an navy again with a matching Nigel Rayment Couture hat trimmed with the fabric from the outfit making Harry mum a stunning Mother Of The Groom.

Weddings Abroad Occasion Wear Dresses
Some couples are opting for destination weddings; which brings about the inevitable question: "As a mother, what should I wear?" What to Wear Obviously, a wedding in a church or hotel will be quite different than a wedding on a beach in Cyprus. While the venue should obviously be taken into consideration, the most telling indicator is that of what the wedding party will be wearing. If the wedding is on a beach and the men are wearing tuxedos, a mother should obviously be dressed more formally. If however, the wedding is on a beach and the guys are in shorts and flips-flops, then it's up to the mother to find the degree of formality (somewhere between what the bride is wearing and what the rest of the wedding party is wearing) that suits her style and sensibilities. We are here to help mothers select a dress or outfit that honours their status at the wedding and will also photograph well next to the bride. Colours and Fabrics If the destination is in a warm or tropical location, consideration must be given to the weight of the fabric. Most mothers tend to be very warm-natured. A bulky, stiff, structured outfit will not only be uncomfortable to wear, it will look out of place. The location of the wedding will also affect the colours mothers should wear.Tropical venues naturally lend themselves to lighter, colour such a duck egg blue, hibiscus, blush, silver, as well as some stunning beaded lace pieces from Ronald Joyce Veni Infantino and chiffon from the Gina Bacconi occasion wear collection. This would hold true for weddings in vineyards and botanical gardens as well. Something to keep in mind is that certain fabrics pack better than others a perfect dress to travel is Irresistible by Veromia. We always recommend packing a good hand steamer to touch up the wedding party's attire as well as the mothers' dresses before the ceremony. It's a great investment as it can be used at home after the wedding.

With so many new wedding venues opening their doors over the last five or so years, it means that many weddings are now held in one venue so the trip from a cold church to the reception is not as common as it used to be. Consequently the fabrics aren't as heavy as they used to be and can be worn 12 months a year. This means that shopping for your outfit is less season driven and you can now shop throughout the year for your outfit. The Nigel Rayment Boutiques in London and Manchester always have a great selection of outfits available in a range of colours to suit most wedding themes and venues.
